With the aim of contributing to a comprehensive theory of human differentiation, I maintain an overview of the empirical sub-projects and their respective subject-related perspectives, develop systematic comparisons and attempt to build theoretical bridges. Which various forms of human differentiation can we distinguish conceptually and how do they relate to each other? In my function as a ‘messenger’ and of supporting dialog, I participate in the meetings of the different work areas as well as in all concept forums. Another focus lies on literature work, especially exploring diverse approaches of differentiation theory. This involves the question of how forms of human differentiation relate to other modes of social and societal differentiation.
